Boni Future Digital Publishing – Terms and Conditions

 

1. Scope

 

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded through the website of www.bonfuturepress.com and its subdomains (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), as well as through related e-mail communications, and to all associated services provided by Boni Future Digital Publishing Co., Ltd. [office@bonfuturepress.com] (hereinafter referred to as “Boni Future”or “ Bon Future”).

 

1.2 Any user of the Website or purchaser of Boni Future services shall be referred to as the “Customer” or “You/Your” throughout these Terms and Conditions.

 

1.3 Any divergent terms or conditions provided by the Customer shall not apply unless expressly confirmed by Boni Future in writing.

 

1.4 The Website Terms of Use form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

 

1.5 In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other information or policies published by Boni Future (e.g., Publication Fees Policy, Ethics Policy), these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

 

2. Scope of Services

 

2.1 Boni Future provides digital academic publishing services, including open-access publication in its journals, peer review coordination, and editorial assistance.

 

2.2 Boni Future will make reasonable efforts to ensure that all its journals are considered for inclusion in recognized academic databases, indexes, and ranking lists. However, Boni Future does not guarantee any specific indexation, ranking, or citation outcomes. Customers acknowledge that Boni Future has no control over external database inclusion or de-indexation processes.

 

3. Ordering and Publishing Process

 

3.1 Customers must register an account on the Website prior to submitting any manuscript (“Manuscript”).

 

3.2 By submitting a Manuscript for peer review, the Customer formally requests Boni Future to provide editorial and publication services. Once accepted for publication, the Manuscript becomes a “Published Article.”

 

3.3 The Customer agrees to support open access publishing and to pay the applicable Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance.

 

3.4 Boni Future shall clearly disclose all applicable fees prior to submission. No fees will be charged during the submission or peer review stages, except where extensive language or technical editing is requested by the Customer.

 

3.5 All applicable taxes, duties, or levies are the sole responsibility of the Customer. Payments must be made in full, without deductions.

 

3.6 Customers may withdraw their Manuscript at any time before acceptance. Once accepted, withdrawal is no longer permitted.

 

3.7 Boni Future reserves the right to decline or terminate a submission at its sole discretion during the review stage. In such cases, prepaid fees (if any) will be refunded, excluding optional editing service fees.

 

3.8 Once published, articles form part of the Version of Record (VoR) and remain permanently accessible. Retraction or removal will only occur under ethical or legal circumstances as specified in Boni Future’s Retraction Policy. No refund of APCs shall be made in such cases.

 

4. Copyright and Author Responsibilities

 

4.1 The Customer warrants full ownership and originality of the submitted work and confirms that it does not infringe upon any third-party rights. Customers must obtain and provide documentation of permissions for any copyrighted materials reproduced in their Article.

 

4.2 The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Boni Future against all claims or damages arising from copyright or ownership disputes related to their publication.

 

4.3 Accepted articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) unless otherwise agreed.

 

4.4 Manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere, except for prior presentation at conferences (with proper disclosure).

 

5. Patent Considerations

 

The Customer must ensure that all relevant patent applications have been filed before submission. Publication may render unpatented content non-patentable.

 

6. Publication of Author Information

 

6.1 Boni Future publishes the names, institutional affiliations, and e-mail addresses of all listed authors. By submitting the Manuscript, the Customer consents to such publication.

 

6.2 The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors are informed of and consent to the publication of their details.

 

6.3 At least one institutional e-mail address must be provided for indexing and repository purposes.

 

7. Prices, Invoices, and Payment Terms

 

7.1 The current APCs and other applicable fees are listed at https://ojs.bonfuturepress.com/index.php/CETR/indexhttps://ojs.bonfuturepress.com/index.php/ghss/index

Prices may be updated periodically, and the rate applicable at the time of Manuscript submission will apply.

 

7.2 Discounts and waivers may be granted to reviewers, authors affiliated with partner institutions, or at Boni Future’s discretion.

 

7.3 The corresponding author will receive an invoice upon editorial acceptance. Full payment is required prior to publication unless otherwise arranged.

 

7.4 Payment is due within ten (10) calendar days from the date of invoice issuance.

 

7.5 In cases of overpayment, bank fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

 

7.6 Persistent non-payment may result in suspension of ongoing or future submissions.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

 

Boni Future shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of its Website or services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

 

Boni Future is not liable for third-party claims arising from copyright infringements by authors or unauthorized use of co-authors’ data.

 

Nothing herein shall limit liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct under applicable law.

 

9. Force Majeure

 

Boni Future shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, cyberattacks, or pandemics.

 

10. Privacy Policy

 

The collection and use of personal data by Boni Future are governed by its Privacy Policy, available at https://www.bonfuturepress.com/data_privacy.html.


11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, excluding its conflict-of-law principles.

 

11.2 All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.


11.3 If any provision herein is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.

 

11.4 Boni Future reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting updates on its Website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
